There has been some argument whether hydroponically grown crops can be labeled organic. We grow our produce in small batches without the use of pesticides or fungicides. They are also grown without soil so they get their nutrients by growing their roots in a very non-organic nutrient solution. I will let you decide if this is organic or not.
There is a different method for growing crops without soil called aquaponics. This uses tanks of fish (and their waste) as the nutrients for the crops. This requires almost twice the space and the need to feed and harvest the fish. We are not pursuing this method at this time.
